MESSAGE OF THE PRINCIPAL
Madarganj Aftab Huda Zoha Govt. College is a renowned college in Madarganj Upazilla under Jamalpur district. The college was established in 1968 by Dr. Aftabuddin Talukder, Shamsul Huda Talukder and Shamsuzzoha Talukder, three sons of Ashek Mahmud Talukder who was the founder of Govt. Ashek Mahmud College, Jamalpur. This reputable family has established other educational institutions in the area. Since its establishment, the college has played an important role in providing higher education among the people of the area. The surrounding area was once affected by flood and river erosion by the Jamuna River. But now the college has a good academic infrastructure which was made possible only by the goodwill and supervision from the renowned political figure of the area, Mirza Azam MP. The college has been creating a number of educated personnel. In 1987 it was nationalized. Now the college boasts of providing quality education at a lower cost, which is of great service to the people of the area. I hope the college will continue to provide standard education to the students so that they can boldly face the challenges of the new century.
